Becky Hammon to participate in the NBA ASG

Becky Hammon is back in the United States and ready to put on her Silver Stars jersey.  This time as part of  Team Texas in the Haier’s Shooting Stars competition of the NBA ASG weekend.   Becky will join Dallas Mavericks Dirk Nowitski and retired Houston Rocket’s legend Kenny Smith.    In addition to the Shooting Stars Competition Becky will also participate in the Celebrity Game on Friday night.   You can watch the Celebrity game live  Friday @ 7:00pm EST on ESPN and the Shooting Stars competition Saturday @ 8:30pm EST on TNT.  Silver Stars Nation will host an online viewing party both nights.  So join us on our MB Forum @  www.silverstarsnation.com/forum

Coach Dan Hughes talks ESPN U Road To The Championship and Silver Stars

Silver Stars Head Coach Dan Hughes was on ESPN 1250 The Zone with Chris Duel and discussed the upcoming  ESPN U Road To The Championship, some Spurs and of course the Silver Stars and the WNBA.  ESPN 1250 Interview

The ESPNU Road to the Championship will be played Nov. 17 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.  National powers Connecticut, Tennessee, Texas and Texas Tech will take part in the doubleheader televised by ESPN2 and ESPNU. Five-time national champion Connecticut will take on Texas in a game televised by ESPN2. Tennessee, which has won eight NCAA titles including the past two, faces Texas Tech in the other game on ESPNU.
